DU SHALIK

Saptak “Sanai” Das & Debdeep Mukherjee — Live

Ideated and produced by Kriti Events

Two voices, two musical journeys, and an evening where their worlds meet.

On 12 December at 6:30 PM, Mahajati Sadan, Kolkata, welcomes Saptak “Sanai” Das and Debdeep Mukherjeefor “Du Shalik”, a live celebration of contemporary Bengali music, ideated and produced by Kriti Events.

Taking its name from the familiar image of two shalik birds, Du Shalik evokes companionship, conversation and the pleasure of sharing a song. The title offers a fitting setting for two artists whose individual musical identities speak to the emotions of everyday life.
